Senior Data Engineer

About the Role

As a Senior Data Engineer at nBall.ai, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms that power our GenAI-driven analytics solutions. You’ll partner with Data Scientists and DevOps to optimize performance, ensure data quality, and implement robust security controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement ETL/ELT pipelines on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Develop data ingestion workflows for structured and unstructured sources.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance (RBAC, encryption, auditing).
• Collaborate on metadata-driven orchestration and GenAI integration.
• Mentor junior engineers and trainees in best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Engineering, with Python, SQL, and cloud-native tools.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift.
• Strong understanding of data security and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
